The Bergepanzer III was a German armored recovery vehicle based on the Panzer III chassis, designed to tow and repair damaged tanks on the battlefield. Equipped with a winch, towing equipment, and a small crane, it provided essential maintenance and recovery support to German armored units. Though produced in limited numbers, it was used on both the Eastern and Western Fronts to keep German tank formations operational.
