Panzerjager Tiger (P) With 8.8cm Pak "Elefant" - 28mm (3D Printed)
The Panzerjäger Tiger (P), commonly known as the "Elefant," was a German tank destroyer developed during World War II. Built on the chassis of the Porsche Tiger tank, it was equipped with the formidable 8.8cm Pak 43/2 anti-tank gun, which could penetrate even the heaviest Allied armor at long ranges. The Elefant featured exceptionally thick frontal armor, up to 200mm, making it nearly impervious to most enemy fire from the front. However, it suffered from mechanical issues due to its weight and limited mobility, and its lack of a defensive machine gun made it vulnerable to close-range infantry attacks. First deployed during the Battle of Kursk in 1943, the Elefant proved deadly against Soviet armor but struggled in more mobile engagements and rough terrain. Despite these challenges, it remained in service on both the Eastern and Italian Fronts, where its powerful gun and heavy armor made it a feared opponent in defensive roles.
