Soviet - Field Kitchen

Soviet mobile field kitchens (Polevaya Kukhnya, or PK series) were essential for keeping troops fed during World War II, especially in harsh conditions on the Eastern Front. Mounted on wheeled trailers, they could prepare hot meals like kasha, soup, and tea for large numbers of soldiers. Their mobility and durability allowed them to function in combat zones, helping to maintain troop morale and endurance in extreme weather.
